Through the shallows I waded,
As I looked for my fate
Nothing caught my eye, until I spotted a single shard
The shard that changed my destiny
Through it I could see, the hardships and troubles of others
The wars, the shattered dreams, the secretive hearts...
Only then could I truly understand
Only then could I truly see
What others had suffered...
The agony of it all tore out my heart,
It ripped my soul to shreds,
But I started to heal, as I aided others
and started to learn the true meaning
of selflessness.
