Fluttering free
But bound by will
‘til you have your fill
I will way for thee.
Meanwhile my heart pays the fee
A heartache for which there is no pill.
Though my pain gives you a great thrill
To end it only you have the key.
On my knees, meekly looking to the sky
As you hold to my throat a knife
Teardrops shimmering in my eye.
I mutter a soft gentle goodbye
Should you choose to end my life
So you could watch me slowly die

I swear, it's like your poetry speaks right into the depths of the reader's soul.
You should publish your writing. You could be just like Poe. ^^ - Report As Spam
