What if my life was a lie,
If I was damned to exist, not to die,
As I stand alone tonight,
While begging all my friends to fight,
Kneeling in dirt by another,
Grave that sits beside my poor mother,
As I cry up to heaven for,
Opportunity to shut the broken door,
Watch as you my love fails,
Falls prey to the cold and your bitter ails,
See the ashes rise around,
Singing softly as I plummet to ground,
Relentless in efforts to cease,
My living, hide from the suicide police,
And if I never failed to exist,
I'd write my story, no end, what a twist,
In this hell I'm better known,
For some past excruciating sin to atone,
I've loved and I'm still alive,
So get into the car and please just drive,
Don't answer your silly phone,
Just this once, treasure the time we have alone,
Because I die every single day,
I fall every time they come to take you away,

Description:
I don't know, think about how depressing immortality would be.
Always living while everyone you ever knew died before you and you'd never see them again. Ever.
