I sit there
Holding in my arms,
One with honey hair,
And sun kissed eyes.
By the sea,
With head buried,
With tears to see
Hidden in bosom sweet
Her hands had
The gentle touch
Of feathers on my hand,
Of clouds in air.
Her hair,
Golden shines of honey
When moved by air,
With silver tone.
Her eyes of deep,
Deep golden brown,
Still awake when at sleep,
Still alive when closed.
Her skin shone
Like polished marble,
Like silver stone,
Soft as soapstone.
Yet, to see her,
Still as stone,
On the shore,
On the sand.
I knew,
What had been,
Before I flew
To her side.
My bonny lass,
Choked by water’s hands,
Has come to pass,
To the land of gold and honey.
- Title: To the Land of Milk and Honey
- Artist: Azaurmyth
- Description: I wrote this, I'm not sure how long ago, but I was in a very depressed mood. It's one of my favorite poems. This basically describes a woman that died, and what the man thinks of her, and how she died. Anyways, I hope you like it. Enjoy.
