Opaque as ice
Heavy like light
Dust in the rays
Shone down through the night
Symphonic swirl
Echoing flow
Eyes set a shimmer
Send sparks down below
Pulse strong but steady
Steam rising slow
Pushing back harder
Sink down through the snow
Melting in deeper
Lustrous sheen
Heat on their lips
So wet; saccharine
Stars glowing hotter
Chests heave and fall
Silence grows dimmer
Breath seems to stall
Pierce through the darkness
Eruption so warm
Lie calm together
After the storm.
