Aloft, the fear that haunted you
Your widened eyes did see
All that hope eluded you
A grave-bound youth to be
Yet all within your sorrow
Had failed to bleed your eyes
Of all remaining tears
Your heart did sterilize
And so you live so free now
Once broken, now repaired
To stretch your tattered wings
And love the life thus spared

- This three stanza poem represents a three-part transition from a dark and depressed world into a brighter one, where the youth is healing their wounds and looking onward with a newfound love in their heart.
