i put up walls,
not to keep people out.
but to see who cares enough,
to break them down.


i push u away,
not because i dont care about you.
but to protect my heart,
in fear of u breaking it.


i do not cry,
not because i am happy.
but to make everyone believe,
that i am.


i went missing,
not because i was taken.
but to see if anyone,
would send a search party.
