The darkness that consumes my soul
Has begun to slowly drift away
Like the fog that once overwhelmed my heart
And molded it from gold to clay
Life has begun to brighten up
From the light of the blood red moon
The light that shines, bloody and bright
To the walls of my glum black room
The smile that once faded so quickly
Is now a grin that is here to stay
As I lie in the dirt, staring at the stars
As they flicker in the sky, so far away
Life has changed, as everything does
Only this time, it has happened so soon
As I sit in the depths, your face on my mind
And it shines in the bloody light of the moon

- "Molded it from gold to clay," this is probably the best piece of the poem. You overuse the term blood, and the imagery of the bloody moon. What does the bloody moon mean? This poem has potential, revise and write it again with a stronger purpose in mind.
