• In the red moon lit town
    It was dead silent
    The moon was never down
No one knew what it meant
    Just like everyone died
    But everyone is still alive
In this tale I have not lied
    Nothing rushed to survive

Nothing tried to laugh or weep
    The silence will never break
    Because everything was asleep
No one was at all awake
    Not a snore or wheeze
    Or a simple squeak
    Not even the midnight breeze
    Dare try to speak

    It was a twilight bliss
    No one could weave
The kind that gives you a kiss
    When you try to leave
And then you want to stay
    Relax, to stay and lie
    While you just lay
    You start to ask why

    It makes you feel calm
    And it helps you see
    In your own warm palm
    What truly makes you free
    And it starts to convince
    Your soul is actually freed
    Thats from ever since
    The smallest deed

This is a thing you'll never lend
    A beauty you'll never share
But all good things have to end
Most think this is not fair
    You slowly start to cry
Yet you don't make a sound
As you try to say goodbye
    Your tears hit the ground.....
