We are all gathered in my chambers to discuss a fear, that’s home is deep with in my old heart .
Let my mind go back to remember that frigid day in December.
There I lay in my hay filled mattress try as I may I could not rest.
I lay for hours like lumber trying oh so hard to slip into slumber.
By what could only be called chance I glance at the clock its hands locked on midnight's numbers.
Might my fright have grown at any other time, no of course not midnight is where it waits tainted and poisoned just right
I close my eyes for but a second, then I hear piercing the night’s cold air a shriek I prayed I never hear.
A shriek high pitched and angry that always signals tragedy
I have heard stories spun by are family of the banshee's prediction hear it and pray to rest in peace my grandfather told me when I was 11.
It wasn’t the best knowing death for me was near .
My fear was that instead of dying peacefully I shall die in pain of large amounts.
So I wish t-to te-ll y-you what is to come f-f-for the b-ban-ns-she I-is *cough* ne-e-evr *hack* w-w-r-rong.
