Without her I am no one

• Description: This is a poem I just started to write instinctively.. I was bored, supposed to be doing homework, but wanted to write a poem isntead, so here it is, hope you like it!

I held her closely
As if she would slip away
I need her with me everyday
I held her tightly, to my heart
Without my baby I would fall apart

I stared into her eyes
Thinking about all my cries
I’ve been worried about her
Together, before we were
Distant, now we are...

I keep her safe in my arm
So nobody can do her any harm
And she sleeps nice and quietly
And to myself I smile brightly
Happy to have her back in my arms
