your heart beats at the speed of light
you try to control it
forever in that fight

you think that your time will come
when your the nations anthem
i know this may be a shock
and you got them in a head lock

be aware
there after you
but your walk-ing-on thin-air

I absolutely loved it! However, in your last stanza "there" should be changed to "their". Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it. Good job!
