Red for those who've died
Blue for those who've cried
White for beyond the golden gate
And all this caused by hate
Waving high above my head
I think of all those dead
But at least I know, for me
Freedom isn't free

- Poems dont always have to rhyme or even be rhythmic. Poetry is all about feeling and trying to show your own feelings through words and i think he has done a good job of it, not great, but good.

5, 5, 8, 6, 7, 6, 7, 5
Is there any rhyme or reason to your syllables?
Get some rhythm, and then call it a poem, until then, its words arranged to look like a poem. It's a good theme, very patriotic and dramatic, but it lacks any form of rhythm. - Report As Spam
