The spotlight opens and shines down on the man and he looks up at it.
"I am done with this life and I wish to end it all tonight." He says with almost unnerving conviction.
Another spot light opens in front on him and there he is again. The two images stare at each other and the new one speaks,
"Was life so bad that you wish it to end? Was no one kind to you in life that you wish it all away?"
"No, everyone was great, its me, I cant feel for them the same way they feel for me. I have lost that part of me that seems to love and care." Came his reply to his image's plea for survial.
Yet again, another spotlight opens on a third image of him. But, this one was smiling and beaming with joy.
"Well, maybe you should try and reach me from time to time. I really want to be there for you and the people you meet. I really do care for them and love them; Where did you lose me at? I've been gone for so long and I had wished to see the world once more before you were done." With this plea this image's face twisted into a frown and began to sob.
With a shudder and a light gasp he replyed, "You, you left me, I wanted you back for so long. I searched and cried for you to come back. I've hurt so many people without you. I was lost in my own cold world. I... I had everyone and didnt notice them..."
The final and fourth spot light opened and showed a huddled figure on the ground. He looked up and his face was bruised and bloddied. With a wince of pain and a gasp for air he stood. His body was obviously broken and his eyes dulled from an eternity of his infernal internal conflict.
He looked at his image from under his blood stained brow and let loose his raspy tail.
"It looks like I have finally lost this fight. You win, I have tried to fight this darkness off from consuming you for so long, but it just kept coming. Like some rabid animal." He took a breath to continue his eulogy. "But, this time I finally let it get to you, I am tired of these animals you send at me and you have broken me of my will to continue. This is your deserved obliteration. Take it."
The origanal man burried his face in his hands trying to comfort himself. But, it wouldnt come, his destruction was his own and he couldnt fight anymore for himself, he was not even worth his own time now.
The spot lights had faded along with his images and new lights lit the stadium. Gand seatings and private viewing boxes lined the entire interior. Elaborate paintings and statues stood around its walls.
He looked out to the seats of his audiance, but none had shown up for his final performance, he was alone in his misery and no one had been there for it. He had been hoping for there to be fans and family and friends to help him deicded to continue his career in life, but none had known.
The lights fade and he walks off the stage.
