• Strong black wings,
    Carry me home,
    Somewhere safe,
    And somewhere warm

    I don’t want to be here,
    Buried in ashes,
    Where nothing lives,
    And everything crashes

    I can’t see a light,
    At the end of this tunnel,
    My body wont move,
    And my mind starts to tumble

    Should I give up here?
    Or should I wait for fear?
    Will someone save me?
    Or will it just be a cherished memory

    My sprite will not die,
    Not just yet,
    I wont give up,
    I’ll stay strong,
    Strong for now

    My wings will carry me,
    My lifeless body,
    And they will bring me home,
    Home yes home,
    Where I’ll find you,
    I wont let you go,
    Not now
    Not now…
    Not after a long while,
    Then we’ll see…
    What happens next?

    That’s just my unfinished story,
    A story in my head,
    Just a fantasy I guess,
    Or…is it?

    My mind now confused
    I’m still flying,
    Back home…
    Oh when will I reach?
    My home…
    Sweet home…
