• Wolves of Everything
    Prologue
    In a land of fantasy lived wolves, and all wolves came from different places and different times. The gods of them all were Roges- Artemis the greek goddess, hunting dog, a black and brown female wolf. Her mate was Sadarn- Thor’s wolf, who was also a hunting dog, who was white with brown patches on his legs. Roges and Sadarn were the rulers of everything in the land of wolves. All wolves had different powers depending on their personalities. For example, Roges’s tail fur would turn into arrows and she would shoot them at her attackers. While Sadarn’s paws would grow as hard as a Thor’s hammer, they felt light to him but they were like getting hit by concrete against his opponents. Roges’s way of combat was strategy and planning, while Sadarn’s was ruthless and brutal.
    Chapter One
    It was a dark and thunder storm when three little wolf pups were born, the black one who was a tom was never really loved but his litter mates understood him his name was Blackheart, the other one orange with a hint of brown was always ambitious and looking for adventure she was always making trouble she was named Auburn, and the last one white with some black patches she was usually quiet but the other wolf pack said she was a nightmare and a disaster but she really was misunderstood she was called Shkwraith . “Mama when are we gonna be able to go out?” Said Auburn.
    “When you are as long as my tail,” she said glancing at her short tail which was the color of charcoal and snow.
    “Aww,” groaned Shkwraith, “that’s gonna take forever!’’
    “Don’t worry little ones,” said their mother. Crash…. they heard “Darkheart!” said their mother .
    “Mphh,” Said Darkheart with a mouthful of feathers.
    “What are you doing!?!”scowled their mother. “I was trying to get dinner!” Said Darkheart.
    “By taking feathers from a nest!” said their mother.
    “Well uh, Shkwraith and Auburn helped me!” he said glancing at his sisters, “What no!!!” they screamed.
    “I think its bedtime, little ones.” Then she fed them and brought them to their den. “Goodnight mama!” they all said.
    “Goodnight,” she said and walked off to go take a rest.
    Then they’re mother Shaniae, went to go hunt elk with the rest of the pack. Then as she was hunting elk the pups were plotting to go outside and see the world.
    “Ok,” said Auburn “We still have about an hour till the break of dawn when they come back so lets explore!”
    They Jumped out of their beds and walked out of the den.
    “Whoa look at all of these plants,” said Darkheart in amazement looking at a shrub with glowflies sitting on it “I never knew the forest could be so beautiful,” they all said.
    “Yea and dangerous!” said a voice coming from behind a tree. They saw a tawny colored wolf with scares all over his body to him the wolf pups were an easy meal. “Mmm, you look plump and delicious!”
    “Noo, I taste bad,” said Auburn they all backed away in horror staring at the brutal rogue. His eyes were wild he looked crazy like he had gone into another wolf territory and just sat in their camp and got attacked. The wolf came closer then the pups ran into a tree. They were trapped!! The rogue’s nose pinned theme to a tree. Then their eyes blacked out.
    “Where where am I?” Darkheart thought he was in a world filled with darkness, “Noo, Noo, I wanna get out of here he thought to himself he saw a black wolf run by, “Father,” he thought “my son,” said the black wolf, “Remember I am always with you no matter what.” Then in a flash he was back to reality.
    “Where am I,” thought Auburn, seeing a world of mischief, were everyone was doing strange things she saw a wolf that looked like her. The wolf approached her “Hello my dear granddaughter you are growing up to be a powerful wolf but you are too mischievous beware mischief will lead to death.”
    Then her eyes fluttered back to reality. “Whoa,” Shkwraith thought, she saw a world that looked exactly liked hers, but then she blinked and the whole town was ignited in flames. She saw a wolf running out of a burning den. Her jaw dropped … it was Rogues one of the wolf gods. Rogues approached her with gracefulness, “Hello my dear fellow wolf pup, you must be surprised seeing this but, if you do not protect your pack this will happen.”
    She blinked and reality was back they all remembered their visitors. Then they looked at each other and nodded. Auburn went under the wolf and bit its tail while Darkheart went and attacked his stomach then Shkwraith ran on top of its head and started attacking its back. The wolf let out a loud howl “AWOOO” rang in the distance as it ran off. The sun was just beginning to rise in the north, they ran as fast as they could back home.
    Chapter two
    “And then I went under the rogue and attacked his stomach,” said Auburn telling one of her pack mates about the battle they had with the rogue.
    “Yea right you took down a fully grown wolf, not even one of the gods could do that as a wolf pup,” said the other wolf snorting in disbelief as he walked away.
    “Its true,” called Auburn after him.
    “Face it Auburn,” Shkwraith said, “no one will believe us, not even our own mother!”
    “Yea talk about disappointment” said Darkheart, “Look at this.”
    He said as he wandered up to one of the fighters, “Hey, have you defeated rogues lately.” said the Fighter in a taunting voice “That’s it!!!” said Darkheart. He launched himself at the fighter tackling him to the ground
    “AHHH”!! Said the fighter helplessly. Auburn and Shkwraith couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of a 1 year old wolf getting beat up by a wolf half his age. Then Darkheart’s sisters grabbed him by the neck fur restraining him from attacking “Haha you have to get held back by wimpy girls!” Said the fighter, “Oh that’s it” said Auburn and Shkwraith as they launched themselves at the wolf “AHHH” He said gasping for air. Then the three of them walked off they were gonna go explore the forest.

    They finally got their “I love this place” Said Shkwraith laying down in the grass wet with dew “I love the dangerousness of this place.” Said Auburn “I love the peacefulness” Said Darkheart raising his ears in delight “snap” They heard coming five feet away from them. Shkwraith lifted her head up smelling the scent “We got an intruder.” She said flicking her tail to a bush to their right, Darkheart slowly padded over to the right side of the bush. While Auburn took the leftside and slowly walked until they saw the intruder. Shkwraith mouthed the words “one,two,three!” and then they pounced at their attacker with their adrenaline pumping.
