I openly acknowledge that I make faces when I draw. For me, maybe it feels like I'm part of the picture. Like no one is watching over my shoulder, trying to
see what I'm doing. When I enter the picture like that, with nobody to please but myself, I can truly put my mind on paper.
But when there are no faces to mimick, I imagine that there are. I don't know why, but I made faces when I drew the Peace Poster that almost won the state competition. I made faces when I drew the Yearbook Cover for my school. I make faces when I draw--but is that such a bad thing?
Maybe it's the face of inspiration. whee
