School started.
I was still in love with my first crush.
But we had different schedules, so only time that we could hug and chat for 5 seconds was either the hall pass between 6th and 7th, or 7th and 8th.
I was starting to lose him...literally.
I joined Jazz Band this year.
For a couple of weeks, I was chatting with the Bass Trombone player for a little bit, and no one else. I was pretty much alone for the most part, because I didn't know anyone.
Yeah, it was boring...but the musics were fun though.
And then this one guy came to me after the second football game...
Hold up... Let's pause for a second.
If you're one of the people who are going to say "Oh my god, Disposable Bombs... Here we go again!!!!", then you may exit out of this page and play some Booty Grab or something if you wish to. If you are not one of the people who would say that or is interested in this story, then you may continue reading. Because this is going to be another one of those love stories that you have encountered somewhere in the past.
And let us resume.
He asked me if I wanted to go to Burger Kings with him. I told him no, my mom is going to pick me up soon.
I rejected him for 2 reasons... Number one, I don't really know him. I've seen him around in Symphony Orchestra and he's in Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band with me. Number two, I didn't want to go to Burger Kings with a stranger! (whom I've seen a couple of times)
So I got to know him a little more throughout the Marching season. He would find me somewhere with my friends and start chatting with me and my friends. Yeah, he was a great guy.
He was too great. In fact, I thought he was gay!
Soon, he became my clarinet/alto sax friend whom I thought he was gay.
Couple of months past, and the Marching season ended. We never won a single game. Our school is pathetic and weak when it came to football. (:
And I told him that I thought he was gay.
He was shocked and hurt, but he told me that I wasn't the first and not the last to think that he was gay.
Weeks after that... He invited me to go to Panera Bread and Starbucks afterward. I've never been into Panera Bread before, and I didn't like Starbucks because of the strong coffee smell. Yes, I don't like coffee! Everything was so new to me in this one day.
He told me that he liked me since the second game.
Yeah, you saw that one coming.
I've felt bad because he's been liking me for months, and I didn't even know about it. And I was still falling for the first guy... I told him no, I can't be with you unless I get over him. He sighed and confirmed my decision. It took me 2 weeks... I think...to get over him. In some ways, I think he's still cute and talented...
We had a Jazz Band car wash in a 40 degrees Fahrenheit weather to collect money to buy mutes for the trombone section. Our hands were freezing, but we still had fun. He washing the car with me half of the time, and the other half... He had to hold up a sign at the side walk with a bikini apron on. It was weird on him though, because the bikini's breasts were around his chest instead of his breasts.
A couple of hours after the car wash, we went out for a movie and we watched 2012. Before the movie started, he confessed that he liked me even more since Panara Bread. I was starting to have some feelings for him, so I...told him that I liked him too.
He said, "Do you want to kiss?"
My mouth was stuffed with popcorn, so I couldn't say yes to his offer.
He understood what I was doing. He waited until my mouth was preoccupied.
And we kissed in the movie theater.
It became a date, more than a "Go out to a movie with a friend" activity.
He held my hand throughout the movie, and we kissed through the quarter of the movie.
That was on November 28th.
We are one of the few awkward band-geek couples at our school.
His color-changing eyes, his passion for music, his soft hair, his ticklish spot, his luscious lips, his smooth tongue... I'm in love with them. Even though he's a senior and I'm a sophomore... Even though he would have to leave me for college, the distance won't separate us that easily. We have Facebook and Skype!!! This feeling is more than what I've felt in the past with my first crush. This is more...romantic, more...real.
And I like that feeling.
Teehee!
P.S.
We have a new thing that we're going to do before one of us dies of something...
Safe sex before death.
