• I gasped for air as my mother's Honda Civic pulled into the school carpark. Fear had frozen me completely, all of my rebellious confidence had melted along with my eyeliner. The sun beat down hard onto my back through the open window. I wanted to hide behind my fringe but even that wouldn't disguise my anxiety. I needed Nate and Jesse to reassure me. I missed them already. This school was my last chance. It was an all girl school and I already hated it.
"Do I have to?" I whined as my mother opened the door.
"Yes, Olivia, you do." Olivia- what a joke. I hate the name she gave me. She renamed me after my stupid auntie.
"Don't call me that." I snapped.
"Olivia, calm down. Now, these girls seem lovely so-"
"SHUT UP!" I sobbed. I was going insane.
"Go. Just, go." She looked away from me. I stormed to the door.

    s**t.

It was a coded door. You needed the doorcode. I kicked it hard.
    "s**t!" I screamed.
"Excuse me?" A man behind me said.
    "Um...." I blushed.
"It's 25 347 (not really.)" He raised his eyebrows.
"Oh, right." I giggled weakly, typed in the code and shot down the corridor.
"IT'S MR JACOBS, BY THE WAY!" He shouted after me.
"Righto!" I didn't slow down. I ran into the toilets. After a lot of eyeliner and mascara, I crept back out. Not just out of the toilets, out of the building. I put my MP3 on full volume and hummed along to endless MCR songs. I couldn't help singing along a little to 'Headfirst For Halos'. I was whispering along when I crashed into somebody.
    "Oops, err..." I began
"And as the fragments of my skull begin to fa- what?" I looked up and saw my double. My double, as a boy. He had a long black fringe, red streaks and a lip piercing. He was listening to the same song as me.
"Ah, a C***h H*** girl, no?" He offered me his hand and helped me up.
"Yeah..." and as we enjoyed a brief conversation about school, I knew that this year could maybe get better....
