In the middle of the night, a small figure strolled casually towards the small, local cemetery. The figure seemed to know exactly where it was going. It followed a narrow path into the field, lit by nothing but the moon. Upon further inspection, this small silhouette was actually a small girl. This child had long black hair and soft brown eyes, framed by a pale, heart-shaped face. She wore a plain brown dress and carried a single white flower, clenched tightly in her small and pale hand. The path she was walking on soon branched off, and the young girl walked further into the cemetery. Suddenly, she stopped in the middle of the road, and kneeled down at a grave. She laid down the flower she was clutching so tightly, and closed her eyes.
"I'm going off somewhere, and I don't know when I'll be back," she stated calmly, sighing. "I'm going to go with a pair of people I don't know," she said, after a pause. She reached down and picked a daisy off the grass, plucking the petals off the flower one by one, reminiscing in old times. "Don't do that! Didn't I tell you before, the flower has feelings too?" A voice behind her scolded, sighing. The child turned around, surprised, and then smiled. A woman with long, flowing hair, stood behind the young girl, frowning disapprovingly. However, the young girl's smile faded almost instantly. "One more, one less, what's the big difference?" The small child said cynically, turning around towards the grave again to pluck another weed off the grass. "Stop that, Andrea!" The woman reprimanded, reaching towards the girl's hand to pull it away. However, her hand never reached, and she faded into the night.
Suddenly, the small girl felt more alone than she had ever felt in her life. Andrea wept, letting out her tears for the first time since her mother's funeral. However, she did not have much time to mourn, and knew that her time at the cemetery was limited. "I'll miss you, mom. You know that I love you more than anything, right?" Getting up, she gave a sad smile, and kissed her dead mother's tomb lovingly. Then, standing up and wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, she turned and strolled down the same path she came, once again a mysterious figure in the night.
