• The night swallows you. Dark figures follow you silently, stalking. As you walk you beg for light, but only get the faint rays of the crescent moon. You beg for people to see you, someone to save you. quickly you turn into an alley, thinking you can ditch these creatures hidden by the darkness. You turn around and they are still there. Your adrenaline starts to pump and your stomach is in a knot. You start to run, not paying attention to where you are going. Finally you stop, gasping for air, red in the cheeks, and fearful for what you see. A wall blocks your path, no way out.
    “Can you feel it?” says a voice from behind you. The two figures smirk at each other, a humor is sensed in his voice.
    “F-feel what?” you say scared. Secretly you can feel what they mean. You gulp and you look for somewhere to run.
    “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” said the other male voice.
    You stop and look at them. You start to think, ideas go through your head. “can they read my mind? Who are they? What did they mean by, ‘can you feel it’?”
    While you’re thinking a flash comes for you, grabs you and slams you against the wall. You scream out, a tinge of pain comes from behind your head and a hot liquid pours out. You don’t know what is going on. The fear and pain swallow you, everything begins to spin. As the two figures come in closer to you there is a pain that no one on earth should experience. A whimper of a scream comes from your weak lips.
    “Can you feel death?” the he whispers into your ear.
    A shiver goes down your spine and tears begin to swell. Your breathing slows, each heart beat is a longer pause from the last, and everything is blurs out. All you can get is one look at this demonic person. You see blood coming from the sides of his mouth, skin is pale white and his eyes are red like blood itself. There is no more life in you to say anything, to scream, or to run.
    As you fall to the ground your heart slows, there is no need for breathing and before your eyes could close, it follows your murderers, vampires.
