It seemed everytime I looked at the clock it was something 11. Kinda creeped me out, kinda fasinated me in a way.Well, it was 11:11am, I was in the middle of math class. They used to say to make a wish at that time, AM or PM, and that your wish would come true. I didnt believe in any of that B.S, but hey, it was always fun to do. I closed my eyes and made a wish. I dont remember what it was, but whatever it was, it was probably pretty stupid, seeing as, I had everyday of the rest of my life to make a wish around that time.
Anyways, I was sitting there with my eyes closed making a wish and The next thing I know my name is getting called on.
"Kim, whats the answer for number nine?" My algerbra 2 teacher asked
"I dont know"
"If you dont know, why are you sitting there with your eyes closed?"
"I was making a wish" I said, with kind of a b***h attitude.
"about what?" .
"that this class would hurry up and end already".
He paused for a moment, then called on someone else.
HE sounded annoyed, and reasonably so, I mean, picture yourself a genius at math. You can have any job you want, and make TONS of dough, yet here you are a teacher, trying to make sure people walk out of our class successful, and there some snot nosed brat is sitting there with her eyes closed talking about how she wishes to not even be in the same room as you? I felt kinda bad, but then again, he;'s probably been insulted three times worse then that in the past week.
Eventually, the bell did ring and I was off to lunch. I was lucky enough to have Kealy and my other friend Sara in the same lunch period as me, altough KEaly's guy friend was also there...his name was Calvin. He was a nice guy and all, but boy was he ever a nerd. I dont mean the cool smart people that have a hair up their butt about certain things like math. I mean everything nerdy and inbetween. This kid had thick rim glasses, curly short hair, a red thick lunchbox, a t-shirt that had a computer key that said "F5" on the front, got straight A's and talked about nothing but video games, harry potter and computers all day long.Dont get me wrong, I loved the kid, but half the time I didnt know what the hell he was talking about, so I sat there nodded my head and smiled. I once heard a story about how he wrote a epic zombie story for his gifted education group. It really didnt suprise me, the last thing the kid would give a lfying f**k about is what people thought about him. That was good and all, but I hated how he assumed everyone else felt the same way and used our names when ever he spoke aout them. like one time when we saw these stupid freshman throwing bottles around. It was really annoying, especially when they scramed. God I hated girls like that. Annoying, immature and loud.
"I wish they would shut the hell up already I said":
As sopon as I said that, Calivin got up and walked over to their table. We couldnt believe it, we especially couldnt believe what he said when he got back.
"What did you say? Kealy asked him giggling under her breath.
" I said you see that girl over there? YEah her names Jen, and shes finding it extremely immature and annoying of you guys to be throwing stuff around and screaming like that. So would you please stop?"
I couldnt believe it. I couldnt believe he used my name. I hated that. But I couldnt help but laugh. I laughed pretty hard actually. Those girls were offended, and probably a little embaressed. I looked over and saw them stairing at me and whispering to one another. I gave a little grin and waved. That was the laast time they were ever loud again.
