• I woke up suddenly, and a thought ran through my mind. Ghosts, and why the linger to our earth. I sat up sotfly brushing my sheets off of my body. Of corse every morning starts off with me falling somehow. As I brushed the sheets off one accadental hole gripped on to my toe soon enough i was wrapped up like a caterpillar in it's cacoon. I tried to stand up but that didn't seem to work I was flat on my face before I even knew I was on the floor. I heard a slight noise from downstairs, even my brother was out of bed before me. I sighed softly untangling myself and got up dusting myself off. It was a monday my monday always started with me screwing up something.

I slowly stepped down the stairs and closed my eyes softly smelling the air. An aroma of pancakes filled the gentle air. "Mom pancakes before school?". Her mom was never up on a weekday this was unlike her she opened her eyes realizing it was her brother Jason, he was actually doing something that didn't involve making a mess, well a pointless mess anyways. Something was different about today. "What do you want?". My brother was never nice to me unless he wanted something.

He looked at my with solid bloodshot eyes and smirked. My eyes opened widely suddenly a strange smell filled the air. "Where did you go last night Jason?". I got closer to him and saw his pupils had been extremely dialated. "Where were you!?". I have to admit I was protective over him, and he was older than me. I could feel him breathing on the tip of my head, he opened his lips letting a warm air out and spoke softly. "Don't worry about it" Jason had kissed my head putting the food on a plate for me and left the kitchen. I stood there shocked and bit my lower lip hard. As if I didn't have enough to worry about right?.
