• Most people believed they had never existed, just myth and legend. They were wrong. The ancient rulers of the skies, Dragons. Our ancestors hunted them to extinction and then drove the terrible memories from their minds. Or, at least , so they thought. Many dragons still survived in areas we could not access like the ocean or in volcanoes but they were unable to sustain themselves in hiding for long thus died naturally. But the dragons are on the rise again and are planning the vengence of their ancestors.

    Present Day. The world has florished and is at the peek of civilization. But we are about to seal our own fate in the pursuit of ultimate power. The Divergence Corporation has stumbled upon the remains of dragon in the Sahara desert and plans to clone the dragons in order to create an army for the country with the highest bid. They succeded in the cloning process and have created a male and female dragon. They bred the two together thus making several discoveries in the process. After injection on the males part the female keeps the eggs inside her for aproximately 3 days and then lays them. After the female has laid the eggs the male carefully places each egg in the nest he constructed then wraps his body around them and dies. The female then ignites his body to heat the eggs to approximately 700 degrees. The body slowly burns for two weeks and then the ashes keeps the eggs incubated while the mother heats the eggs to keep them at a steady 500 degrees for the next seven months without food or water. After the eggs hatch the mother suckles the chicks until their teeth are long enough and sharp enough to cause her to bleed and then they feed on meat obtained by the mother until they are strong enough to hunt on their own.

    Divergence then cloned more females discovering that the nest had produced more males than females, scientists don't know why this happens but hypothesis suggests that it ensures there are enough males for the females since a male only mates once but the female mates several times. After the dragons were bred and there were now hundreds of dragons in existence. Divergence began to contact the leaders of the world to get offers but noone believed what they had done. Thus the company enlisted mercenaries to create an army of their own. After the dragons were released they turned on their human controllers and fled into the wild.

    Havoc the world over ensued and the countries banded together against Divergence destroying the company and killing all the employees but not before attaining a sample of male and female dna.

    A new project was started called Project Styx, with the use of genetic technology recovered from D. CORP. and the dragon DNA scientists created half dragon, half human monsters to defend the human race, the group of soldiers created, both male and female, was called Envoy. But the unit went rouge when they stepped into the sunlight awakening a powerful urge, they attacked the scientists and fled just as the dragons before them. Now the world faces the threat of two races, one an ancient evil and the other a monstosity of technology. Humans face ultimate destrucion unless someone can stop them.
