- After coming home from the half-mile ride from the library, her shirt soaked from her sweat. She peddled home, her feet feeling like rubber. When she got home she opened up her backpack and pulled out the yellow-paged book. She examined it carefully, knowing that the warning the librarian gave her had to mean somthing. There was no name on the cover or the spine. Opening the book put a massive amount of stress on her brain , when she looked down the words were spread out in a monotype corsiva. The first words on the page " Like the wind blows softly the soul creeps on and those who disagree shall never again sleep." Right after finishing the words right in front of her a gust of wind silently blew through her closed windows, the door shut, and a black figure started to arise from the shadows.
