• It was August 14, 2007. I was walking through the park in my neighborhood.As I was walking I saw my friends Allen and Chris walk the same path. I stopped and said hi. Then I asked, "where are you guys going?" Allen said he was going to Chris's place to hang out. I immediately called my sister to asked if I could go with them. She said, "No, it's time to come home." But I haven't even gotten to the park yet," I argued. "Just come home," she said. As I walked home I apologized for not being able to come with them. I got inside and went for the back door.I stood on the porch and looked towards the sky it looked like it was going rain so I went inside again. I run up to my room and looked out the window the sky turned red and then it made a loud roar. Meteors started falling from the sky. It looked like someone tossed 1000 emergence flares at the same time into the sky. I looked up further and saw a meteor coming right for my house. I took my gecko, Ricky, out his cage and shielded him with my body. The meteor roared right at the house. I couldn't see because I was hiding under my computer desk. The meteor crashed right into my room all I heard was the ear-splitting roar of the meteor that hit me and my room. Hours later, when regained consciousness nothing was destroyed, Ricky was in his cage, and yet I was still under my desk. Yet I was in minor pain. I looked up and saw the spirits of my nightmares and fears fly into the sky and disappear. I got up, went downstairs to see if anyone got hurt, went to the living room, and saw my sister sitting on the couch watching NCIS. I asked , "Are you okay?" "Yah! Why wouldn't I be?" she asked. After 20 long, painful minutes, my sister tried to convince me it was a dream. I didn't think so. So I went upstairs to my room and turned on my computer. When I got on the internet wasn't connected so I went back downstairs, reset the internet, went back up and it still wasn't loaded. I got mad, swung my fist down, and a purple ball of energy flew to the floor. Astonished by the mark it made I swung my arm and did it again.I watched and examined the marks for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the marks mysteriously disappeared. I ran downstairs and went outside. I thought I might try a fire ability. I raised my hand in the air and shot fire right out of my hand's palm. I thought I might try an earth ability and slammed my foot down. The earth in front of me fissured and destroyed the fence. I ran towards the wreckage o see the damage and stumble into the street. A bus came didn't see me and ran me over. My spirit started to rise.I looked down at my mangled body and saw the bones and blood scattered everywhere. Upset, I went back into my lifeless body and formed all the bones and blood back and then the blood I left before immediately vanished. I looked to my fence and it was fine, too. I ran inside went upstairs and called my best friend Josh. When answered I heard his mom say he was outside playing. I asked if anything strange happen to you guys. She said, "As a matter of fact. Josh has been acting incredibly weird." "What do you mean," I asked. "Well he told me about a dream he had about meteors," she responded. "That's odd". I said. I told her to tell Josh I called and to have him call me soon. She just said "Okay." and hung up. I wrote notes of the invincibility and powers I possessed. An hour after noting, I heard mom come in through the garage. I promised myself to never tell mom or dad or an of the adult members of my family about the powers I possessed. That night, after dinner, I logged on my facebook and saw everyone post about their children having dreams about meteors. At that moment, I realized that I needed to find those kids and talk to my cousins about their powers and the group I invented. The Elements. The next day was Friday. The day the family comes over. When I met up with the cousins we discussed the powers we had and making names. After that day Austen was Skorp, Riley was Diamondplant, Trevor was Blue ranger, and I was Neoxe.
