• "Come to ruin my fun?" She grinned evilly. "Well, dearie, your just adding to it!"
I growled and used my paws to throw her off me and roll her onto her back, and I stood over her. My fur bristled, and I snarled. "You think killing people is fun? People who have loved ones?" I snapped.
"That just makes it more worth while! Seeing their pain and woe, hearing them suffer!" She laughed in a cruel way that made my blood run cold, evil and insane. "And the children, their mothers cry the hardest! I've been to every last funeral and they don't have a clue."
"Your ******** in the head!" I roared and made a quick strike towards her throat. She rolled, and bit my front paw's wrist, and crunched. I screamed in pain, my leg throbbing.
She threw my by the scruff of my neck, into the cold, damp grass. Damn, she's stronger than I thought...
My vision blurred, and I strained to watch Miriah approach Constantine.
He was frozen. She whined as she got close.
"Constantine, don't you love me?" She rubbed her head on him. "C'mon, It'll be fun. Humans are our prey. They are weak and inferior. There's nothing wrong in taking whats ours. Humans are our prey, werewolf prey." She cooed. "And their blood is so sweet, Constantine. I know you want to take a bite whenever you see a human."
Constantine didn't answer. He just watched her, paralyzed.
Miriah was suddenly desperate, her eyes grew wide,k and she looked panicked. "Don't you love me?" She whimpered. "Why don't you hold me like you used to? Don't you love me?!?" She yelled angrily, baring her teeth.
"NO!" Constantine finally hit her down with his huge paw. "Your insane! Killing the weak is wrong! I don't love you, I never did! He yelled furiously.
"I get it." Miriah narrowed her bloodshot eyes. "It's HER! She's your b***h now?!? Well, maybe if she's dead you'll see that I'm the one you really want!" She ducked away from Constantine and ran at me. I yelped and tried to stand, but fell on my broken and bleeding paw. She headbutted me in the side, and began biting and clawing me. First there was pain, then it faded. I couldn't feel her her attacks, or my own attempts to fight back.
Was this death? Death was peaceful. I couldn't hear, or feel. It was like I was just laying there.
Then it occurred to me, Is Constantine just going to let her kill me? It seemed like it, but I wasn't mad. Maybe I should have been, but I wasn't. I was dieing, I didn't have time for grudges.
    Matt, I'll miss you.
