The sun peered in through the window of my room as I was typing carelessly at my computer.
I didn't notice how messy my office space was until the candy wrappers surrounding my computer speakers reflected the sunlight into my eyes, and not to sound lame or anything, but the candy wrappers looked different with their golden gleam. They did not look like unwanted trash, they looked like gorgeous jewels with smells of tempting treats still laced onto them.
I grabbed the nearest one to me and examined it. Each delicate fold and indent was different. The sound it made rung through my ears.
I closed my eyes dreamily, and there I was in a gorgeous gown made of Milky Way wrappers. The browns and silvers and whites embraced my frame. Earrings made of the cups of Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. My hair tied up into a bun with a Twizzler wrapper.
All eyes were on me as people looked on with awe and astonishment. Then loud thundering applause filled the room, praising my uniqueness and creativity, wishing they, too, had come up with something so outlandish, yet so interesting.
I opened my eyes and stared at the candy wrapper. Despite my vision, it was still just a candy wrapper, and candy wrappers belong in the trash. I tossed it into the trash can next to my desk, the vision going along it it.
"I hate candy," I groaned, as I continued my work on the computer.
