• Chapter one

    The day I first joined the game was the day I went to my girlfriend’s house.
    “Come on Jack”, Mom said as I opened my eyes. ‘Why me and why now’, I thought to myself as I got out of bed and got my clothes on “I will be right there, Mom” I went down stairs and then I went into the kitchen. “Your girlfriend called. She wants to know if you want to come over tonight. Tiffany had bought this new game called Become Insane”, Mom said as she poured her coffee. I got myself ready to go to my girlfriend’s house for the weekend. ‘The game sounds cool’ I thought to myself as I stopped at her door. I took a deep breath and knocked on it. “I will be right there”, I heard a voice on the other side of the door. Suddenly the door opened and Tiffany stood there smiling at me “want to play the game with me, cutie?” she asked me. I nodded. She led me inside and up the stairs to her room. “Where is your Mom?” I asked her. Tiffany smiled at me “she is gone for the weekend. Isn’t that great?” I smiled “that does sound good” I kissed her tenderly on the lips “well, what are we waiting for? Let’s play that game.” Tiffany smiled slyly and laughed once. “What’s wrong, love?” I asked. She shook her head “nothing just my friends warned me about this game. She said something is strange about this game.” I laughed at what she said “what does she think will happen, the game will come alive and eat us whole?” Tiffany turned on the TV and put the game in. “Hold on we need other people to join the game. Want to call up Tom, Zack, Yuna, and Ryu see if they want to play?” she asked me. I nodded ‘That will be much more fun to play with a lot of people.” I went to her phone and dialed their numbers. All of them said yes and they will be right over.
    When they got here we turned on the game “In a place called Bane there is a house that no one will go into but 6 teens went into the place. They will have to rely on each other to survive. They have to stay sane and calm for the house is a murder scene and they will have to destroy monsters and ghosts that will come after them.
    The owner of the place is named Nathaniel and he will be the last boss you will encounter at the game. He is charming so girls don’t let him trick you with his good looks. I am your host Toby Allen and I will guide you to where you need to go. See you there bye.” Then the screen turned to a human body so you can make your own avatar. Tiffany went first and then it went on down the line. Then after words came on the screen “from the sun in the morn to the moon at night, the house gets cold. Through the years that pass the house gets old but through it all it holds a secret inside its walls.” They all said it out loud. Then it showed all of us in front of the house. “Welcome to Insane mansion and come in if you dare.” Toby said with a laugh. “This place is the oldest mansion in bane. The history of this place is horrible. There is a shack by it with your choice of weapons. Pick wisely and you just might keep yourself live.” All of us headed over to the shack and went in. “What do you want to pick, Ryu” asked his sister Yuna. “I want to pick a mace’ he said as he picked one up. Yuna picked a dagger, Zack picked a sword, Tom picked a gun, Tiffany picked a bow, and I took a scythe. Then we went back to the mansion and the door swung open. We went in and this is how it looked inside, the walls were a blood color, there was furniture the color black, and it looked dusty. “This place is spooky looking,” I said with a smile. I love scary things and I love this place. The door closed behind us as we took a step into the place. “I don’t like this one bit,” Tom said with a shiver. I laughed “oh, don’t be a baby.” Then we heard a noise. I stopped laughing and frowned “what was that?” I asked out loud. “I have no clue,” Tiffany said “but it sound kind of spooky”. Zack’s person turned toward the stairs “sound like its coming from upstairs” He started heading that way until tom stepped in front of him “don’t you leave us, Zack,” he said aiming the gun at him “If you do I will shot you.” I stood beside Zack “Tom, he will listen to you, so put the gun down!” Slowly Tom putted the gun away. “Ok, what are we going to do now?” Ryu asked. Yuna had an idea “maybe we can go upstairs together and see what the noise was.” Tom groaned “do we have to, it’s scary up there.” I rolled my eyes “Yes we have to, Tom. We need to stay calm do you remember?” He nodded. “Good let’s head there.” We slowly walked up the stairs, so we did not make a sound. “I can’t see in here,” someone said.
    It was pitch black all around us. “I don’t hear anything at all. Can we go back down stairs?” I think Tom asked. “No stop being a scared cat, Tom,” I said. When we finally got to the top we heard grunting. Outside of the game the phone rung and Tom jumped. Tiffany paused the game and answered the phone “hi… hi Dad… ok, I will… Bye,” then she came back to us “we’ll have to get off because it’s time to head over to the Goth club,” Tiffany said with a sigh. We saved the game and we all go ready to leave. “I forgot my vampire teeth” Ryu said and put on his make up. Yuna smiled “I didn’t forget. I guess we can’t be the vamp twins tonight.” Tom got his cape on “Sorry about that, Zack but I don’t like being alone” Zack nodded as he put eye shadow on “its ok, tom I understand.” We all headed out the door after we were done getting ready.
    When we got there Axel looked at us “Hi guys. Come in,” We went inside and stared at all the people “this place is full tonight,” I said as I walked hand and hand with Tiffany. “Yo, Jack what’s up,” someone said. I looked up to see the boss of the club ‘nothing much, Isaac” We sat down at a table ‘want a drink?” He asked me. I nodded “sure I would like some wine.” I said. He left us but came right back. “Thank you.” Isaac looked at me “so what are you doing tonight?” He asked. “We are playing this cool game called Become Insane. I love that game. “Oh, cool may I play?” he asked. I nodded. “Can you come to my house tonight?” Tiffany asked. He nodded “after I close the club I will be right over.” Isaac left us and didn’t come back. “Do you want to go dance, love?” I asked. Tiffany nodded “let’s go’ she grabbed my hand and we began to dance. The music moved us along the floor. I closed my eyes when Tiff laid her head on my shoulder. “You are beautiful tonight, love” I said to her. She smiled at me “thank you and you do to” the beat went faster and we parted and danced close to each other. “I can’t wait to get back to the game’ I said as I danced. “Yeah me too. Its fun even if Tom is scared a little.” she said. Zack appeared next to us “even if he pointed a gun at me its fun.” He laughed. I had a smile on my face ‘It wouldn’t be funny if he did shot you, Zack” I said. Tiffany nodded “that will stink.” Tom came to us “I will wouldn’t kill you, Zack.” He said as he smiled. I don’t believe him at all. “Want to get something to eat?” Tiffany asked. I nodded “I would like pizza.” I said. The rest nodded.
    “Pizza it is then,” Tiffany said then she left us. I went to find the twins Ryu and Yuna. They were sitting at a table, so I went over and sat down with them “how are you guys doing?” I asked them with a smile. Ryu looked at me “I am not having a good time with out my teeth” Yuna smiled “well; I am having the time of my life.” Suddenly Tom and Zack came to where I was “Tom said that he wants to go back to playing the game and this time he won’t be afraid of anything,” Zack said. I held in a laugh “wow that is amusing,” said Tiffany. Tom turned red “no it isn’t amusing. I am serous about this,” he said. Then Tiffany sat down the box of pizza “It looks good and smells good too,” Yuna said and took a piece “Did you know that is garlic pizza?” asked Tiffany. Yuna’s smile vanished. Then Tiffany laughed “I am just kidding.” She said taking one. My stomach growled at me “looks great,” I said taking one also.
    After we ate we went back to Tiffany’s house. Isaac was waiting outside for us. When we got out of the car he came up to us “so let’s get back to playing the game,” Tom said as Tiffany opened the door. All of us went to the living room and went back to playing the game. “Come on, Tom go up the stairs.Now" I yelled.
