love is when you held me close
love is when you made a promise and told me you will never let go
love is whenyou turned away and came back to me the next day
love is when you told me you will always love me and said you will always be there till the end.

I still dont understand what tore us apart between now and then
day by day my heart aches as I lay face to face with the truth each day
the promises that you made hurt me more each day
soon I relized my my love is slowly fadding away.

I asked myself is this the time I have to stay or should I free myself and run away
will the pain turn my heart into a stone of rock that i once was before I learned how to love you and stay this way.

All I know is that the pain is deep and its the secret that is down so deep that is the secret only my heart keeps
