- Description: okay so this blue jay was in my yard and I think it was injured or something cause I was trying to scare it but all it did was walk like 5 feet it never flew away and I was only trying to scare it because my siblings where trying to catch it and touch it and stuff but when my mom saw it she told them to leave it alone so I took a few pics of it and this one was the best.

- Tthere are a few compositional mistakes here. Cropping. The main focus should never be in the center of the picture, no matter what you have been taught. This is an easy fix, just crop the picture. While you are at it, crop the date out. Make a frame with your hands. If you put the bird up in the upper left, cropping out the slide and leaving the shadow, it makes tension like "Oooh what could that be?!" instead of "oh... it's a slide..." That could get you a 5 more than a 3.
