Soulcharmer gave some good constructive criticism on my last character-based drawing, so I've done this one to try and improve on the points she made.
The eyes are closer together.
The lineart is smoother (though not as smooth as it could be, since I keep drawing on watercolor paper and it just tears when I try and erase construction lines).
The colouring is fuller.
I've also included the lineart of the character which I then crosshatched, to show how it looks in a black and white format =] - Date: 11/19/2010

- Your style is certainly interesting! ;D It's different, which is awesome to see around Art Arena. I won't critique since Soul already has, which is probably a good thing 'cause I've made some noobs cry in the past. Maybe I just hate crappy artists? Idk. 4/5!

I love your style and your shading technique on the lineart
I think the lines totally look smoother and neater!
I love the perspective and I can totally appreciate the angle at which he's standing!
my only issue is anatomy ((hard to please))
the legs are at a good length but the knees should be further down the leg...
and maybe the ear could be higher up?
...
