- Description: I started reading a new manga recently, 'Soul Eater', which I am finding to be very good. Kind of like Bleach, but with proper storytelling. Anyway, this is a drawing I did of an O.C. set in the Soul Eater universe. She is a weapon tech, and that giant axe is her partner. I did two versions of this picture; one in greyscale, and one in colour.

Well, I sort of came up with the idea that some kind of invisible blade is clashing against the shaft of the axe from behind, which gives it the forward motion. Mostly I just drew it for the character design, though. - Report As Spam

I understand it's stylised but perhaps you should make the eyes a little closer together.
um... I don't fully understand what's happening in the picture... what exactly is clashing? is the weapon being wielded by her or is it what's clashing?
I would like to see smoother lineart and complete coloring as well...
But I do like it :3 just give a broader perspective on what's going on then? - Report As Spam
