Yes, that is an eraser shaving over the kitty's eye. Epic scanner fail. One of my friends took great offense over this, since she is SUCH a kitty person, the sight of an upside down torn up kitty doll was simply out of the question. I'll have you know this pic is now in hiding.
And yes, Emily here is ALWAYS with her kitty doll, and there IS a story behind that.
