- Title: Truth beneath the rose-pastel
- Artist: mikisakura66
- Description: All of this was done in pastels and pastel pencils. I looked at a reference image for this drawing, it took a while and it was a challenge. the original drawing is 11 x 17" and it looks a lot better when you see it in person. I know this might not be some peoples tastes in drawings, but I hope you like it ^^ Please rate and comment!!

- Ohhh i like this you have a lot of control with pastels! I am so messy even with oil ones! I really like the way the rose looks, It looks so soft like velvet. and the shadows add some mystery. I really like it 5/5. I also must add, it is really hard to get pastels to look good in a photo. they never transfer quiet right.

- I love it, because I love roses, but the funny thing is that Two years ago in my art class I used the same reference picture for a birdhouse I was painting. That picture is challenging It took me forever to get the correct colors with the paint. 5/5
