This is my first drawing of a horse ever--well, like this, anyway, and a close-up head-on shot. I did this in about fifteen minutes excluding the lineart, so it's a real quickie.
This is actually a portrait of my horse Prue. She's a 3 year old mare appaloosa. She's not heavily spotted as you'd expect an appaloosa to be though, with striped hooves and one white sock on her left foreleg. Her mane and tail both are streaked with white, which I don't suppose I captured very well... - Date: 03/06/2009
