- i think that the shading is pretty good but u might want to work on having his back bent a little more because if his chin is in his hand, it is natural to bend ur back

- Meh, I wouldn't worry about the shading one bit. I'm sure it would have enhanced the over all look, but the detailing on the grass is lovely and the wings are exceptionally well done. They're a lot harder to get right than people usually believe. Also, the detailing on the pants, the folds of the clothes, are pretty nice. It adds depth to the piece. =3 I'd say, as a complete picture, that this shows that you have talent, and you have a lot of potential.

This picture reminds me of Pit from Kid Icarus and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You certainly did the wings very well in this drawing. I know it may only be pencil/pen art, but it is well-made.
