I love his eyes and good job on the hair. Here is a bit of a critique (please dont take this an insult. Just trying to help.)
The scarf (the cloth around his chest) looks somewhat awkward. Also too sharp. I would suggest looking at maybe draperies or put up a blanket against a sofa or chair. look at the folds and wrinkles. Hmm the background is alright. Try it without the dark brown texture next time.
